Balvenie DCS Compendium Chapter 4 - "Expecting the Unexpected" by Balvenie
The Balvenie DCS Compendium range is a collection of single cask bottlings, released in 5 chapters of 5 whiskeys each, each with a specific theme. For Chapter 4, the motto "Expecting the Unexpected" was chosen. In this series, 5 whiskeys were released that differ significantly from those of the usual Balvenies and therefore represent a special feature that whiskey connoisseurs and collectors should not miss. The Balvenie Chapter Four 1999 was distilled in July 1999 and aged in American oak cask number 9304 until bottling in April 2018.
